The Carabao Cup continues this evening with the semi-finals out of sync and one team on the cusp of reaching the final.
Chelsea take a 2-0 lead into their second-leg clash with Tottenham in north London. Thomas Tuchel's men will be determined to close out the tie and enter the showpiece final.
Antonio Conte will be hoping to remind his inherited Spurs team of their form over recent weeks, which has gone from strength to strength under his stewardship. They're not out of it yet.

Elsewhere, Arsenal were gearing up to host Liverpool in the second semi-final showdown but the visitors requested a postponement of the fixture due to a suspected COVID-19 outbreak, which was granted.
This means the first leg will now take place at Anfield on 13th January, while the second is scheduled for the Emirates Stadium on 20th January.

Broadcasters were able to show most games live via an online streaming platform last season due to the COVID-19 outbreak forcing fans away from stadiums, but that provision will not be made this season, meaning fewer Carabao Cup clashes to soak up from home.
